Hi guys,
I'm sorry I haven't been on in such a long time. I seriously still have things to fill you guys in on from Halloween!! But I've just been busy and procrastinating doing it...So I'm probably still not going to get it done...Sorry...It's like all my teachers got together and decided that they should torture us students with project after project. It sucks T.T.
But Christmas is coming up soon!! And with it Christmas break...Unfortunately, our break is not going to be all that long because of how the days fall this year...We have Friday Dec. 24th - Monday Jan. 3rd off....That's a week and a day. Normally we would get at least 2 more days than that!! Next year's going be worse. It will just be the one week! Same as Thanksgiving break...which is rather insulting >.<
Anyway, for the most part, everything's going okay with me. My mom's pretty sick right now. She's in a lot of pain in her side. We think its her kidney or something, but the doctor's are now unsure and they haven't really brought her any solution to her pain...So if anyone could pray for her, it would be really nice!
~otaku-chan
PS: Thanks for worrying about me Kirstin :) I'm fine! (And I will read your story you posted soon, I promise ^^)
PPS: While I was writing this post, the toilet in my bathroom decided to overflow, and my room being in the basement directly below said bathroom, water starts gushing into my room....Literally GUSHING!! It was disgusting. It took me an hour to clean up plus lots of disinfectant and a hot shower. (I was seriously grossed out. I was on the verge of anxiety attack--hyperventilating and almost passing out. It was awesome *note the sarcasm* T.T

BBS and Demyx Time XD
Hi! Back with another post! Yay!
Uhmmm...what was I going to say?? Oh yeah! I finished all the Birth by Sleep stories (including Final Episode!) I also made two AMV's about BBS! (Terra's story mostly)
(WARNING! I included major SPOILERS for those who haven't finished the game!!)
Its so sad!!! DX
Anyway, another thing I wanted to mention: I was asked in a comment to get a dA (as in deviantart). I actually already have one: vampiresquid42 (I put up pretty much the same things as I put on here. The only difference is that you can see my favorite pictures by other artists there and not here...)
That's pretty much my username for everything, so chances are, if you see a vampiresquid42, its probably me ;P
So, I also have a YouTube account (obviously. Where else would my vids come from?) with the username: vampiresquid42...
I have a formspring as vampiresquid42...
I do have a facebook (not with that username), but I'm not friends with anyone I don't know personally (so no internet friends...sorry...) However, I'll accept friends at any of the other sites!
And, today I filled out my senior info stuff (that goes into the yearbook) and as my quote I put "TWILIGHT ISN'T LITERATURE!" and if you don't know where that's from...I pity your empty life...Okay, not really that dramatic...Its from Demyx Time on YouTube. They are hilarious! X3
(Here's the episode this quote came from! Warning: there is a bit of language...and Brit and emo abuse...)
Highschool Musical FTW XP
I WANT Zexion's shirt!!!
Ewww...homework this weekend...I have 3-4 page essay to write for English comparing Beowulf to a modern hero (I chose Dr. C. Walton. Lillehei -- one of the people who "invented" open heart surgery). I also have a lab write up for physics...
Then, I also have to clean my room. My dad threatened to throw out everything I own if I don't clean my room by next week...As an additional incentive, my parents bought me the Settlers of Catan game that I've been interested in for a while, but I can't open it and learn how to play until my room is clean...Grrrr...homework and cleaning...T.T
OK. Done complaining now.
Hmmmm....I think that's all...
TTFN!

Satanic Waffle House XD
Sooo...Its been WAY too long since I last updated and I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY for that!! Too much stuff has been going on (which I will get to below):
So, going in sorta random, sorta chronological order; Revelation Generation happened September 4th. It was pretty freaking awesome! I went with Kat-chan and Rachel (who I seriously need a nickname for because I call all my friends "chan" except for Rachel because I have no nickname!! Blonde-chan? I believe Kat-chan calls her Baka-chan, but she's not very baka...hmmm...anyway...)

What was I saying? Oh yeah! RevGen! I has pictures and videos of course!!
Twas a fun time :)
So, school started up on the 7th. So this week is actually my 3rd week of school (wow, hard to believe...Of course, the first week was only Tues, Wed, and Fri. We had Thursday off. This school year is good and bad.
Good:
-Senior year
-cool classes (Biotechnology -- at a nearby tech school, AP Government (I hate social studies, but the teacher is awesome!), Honors English (we're doing British literature, which I'm actually excited about!!), AP Physics (physics = cool, teacher = eh...something about her just doesn't sit right with me...maybe she's an alien...), AP Statistics (I didn't get the really awesome Stat teacher!! Grrr...I got the new one. Its her first year teaching and she switches between talking to us like we're experts in statistics to talking to us like we're in first grade! She seems nice enough, but its been boring enough that I fell asleep during our first test! I was freaking taking the test and I fell asleep!! ...This is going to be a long year)
-study hall (I have Rachel, Dealer-chan, and (on Tuesdays) Courgy-chan)
-Dealer-chan is in my Physics class, so that makes it fun
-8th period lunch -- Its nice because I go to Biotech, get back to my school in the middle of 2nd period, go to 3 classes, go to lunch, go to 2 classes, go home. My point is, if I make it to lunch, all I have to look forward to after that is physics and study hall!!
Bad:
-teachers...As I kinda already mentioned in my cool classes. The subjects are awesome. Teachers are okay. The only cool teachers are the Biotech, English and Gov't teachers.
-I don't see ANYONE in the morning!! (Because of Biotech, I have to leave at 6:50am and drive 30min every day to the tech school. In previous years, the whole BBM could meet out front of the school in the morning before school started. Now I can't do that because I don't actually get to my school until about 9:15!! It makes me really sad that most days, I don't ever see Kat-chan or Courgy-chan!!
-I have no one in my lunch period. The only people I know in there are Dealer-chan's sister, and Rachel's sister's friend! I sit at the "loser" table with all the other people who have no friends and we just sit every other seat, not next to each other, and eat in silence...usually while doing homework...=(
Actually, I talked to someone the other day. She was a freshman and I was drawing a picture of Aqua from BBS (which I will MOST DEFINITELY talk about later in this post XD) and she asked me who it was and we talked about Kingdom Hearts and anime and stuff. It was fun except I couldn't really hear her very well because its very loud in the lunch room and hard to hear what people are saying, even if they're sitting 2 feet from you...So I kept saying "What?" and "I'm sorry, I can't hear you!" and I felt really bad :(
Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, so school is OK. Not that bad, not that great. I'll get adjusted eventually...
Okay, AP classes are freaking cruel with their summer homework. I'm taking 3 AP classes this year and Biotech (which is a Duel-Enrollment course). They all had packets to do and they sucked!!! I spent pretty much the entire month of August working on those things for at least an hour a day and I was still cramming almost 2 entire packets in the last 3 days before school started! I was tired of school before I even got there!! I guess that's what being a senior is all about...
Oh! Really cool thing I learned! My school finally gave us our class ranks and GPA's.
Based off of grades from 9th-11th grade, my GPA is 4.5601 (our school has a weighted grading scale) and my class rank is 6th out of 381 students!!!! I FREAKED OUT when I heard this!!! (Well, I actually just freaked out on the inside...My mom told me and I was like, "Really? Cool." Then I went to my room and did a little victory dance/jump/squeal/thing. I pretty much spazzed out...)
Uhm...Thinking of what else I wanted to say...
Shippensburg! I visited Shippensburg University with Kat-chan. Twas fun. Rides there consisted of much talk about the Satanic Waffle House...Very long story...Ending in Lucy's brother James running a very cute interdimensional waffle house with his partner Sebastian, his best friend -- Rose the demonic fern, and his little servants resembling the accounting trolls from the Dilbert comics. There was also talk of Nuclear Hellfire Waffles and epic crossovers...Speaking of which, I did draw James and Rose, I don't know if its the same as you pictured him, and I haven't colored it yet, so I will put it in another post. Sorry!
(For now, here's a picture of Gir eating waffles X3)
This weekend was amazingly fun! On Friday, we had the joint birthday party for Kat-chan and Rachel. It was at Rachel's house and lots of people came. There was much noms and dancing and singing (of Disney songs mostly XD)
Funny story, I was at my church community day, which was on Saturday. Rachel's neighbors go to my church and Mrs. W said to me, "Hey, Kaitlyn, were you at a party last night?"
I laughed, "Yeah, did you hear us?"
"Yeah...I think it was something from the Lion King?"
"Yep. That was us."
You see, that's just how awesome we are XP
Oh, and Rachel got some awesome cosplay stuff! She has pretty much her entire Demyx cosplay set.
Speaking of which, I realized in the shower (of all places) that my mother had a lab coat that she had used for a microbiology class she was taking. So, I thought, 'Wait, I have a lab coat and a Zexion wig. Duh! I can do Ienzo!!!' And so now I have an Ienzo cosplay. And that is that.
So now, finally to my otaku-related news.
This is pretty much all consisting of Birth By Sleep talk. My brother got it for his birthday and we've been sharing it, so I'm not very far. I actually am playing as Ventus, Terra, and Aqua kinda simultaneously and I'm at Deep Space with Ventus and Aqua and Neverland with Terra. The game is AMAZING!! I love it so much! Much better of a game than 358/2 Days. I mean I liked that game, but it was not nearly up to other KH game standards. But I really love the fighting styles in this game and my Zacky is in it so that just has to make it amazing!! (I had major fangirl attacks every time I went to the Colosseum and saw Zack. He's just too CUTE!! He's so little with the same personality and trying to hit on Aqua! Its just so cute!!)
Anyway, this game is one of the reasons I haven't been updating. When I'm not doing homework, I'm playing the game (I lost the game DX).
Me and Courgy-chan had a fight over Vanitas. I had called him a while ago to my brother, but not publicly, so apparently, she had called him too. So we were arguing in the school parking lot. She followed me to my car and stood behind my car and wouldn't let me leave until I admitted Vanitas was hers. It lasted about five minutes. I had turned my car on and put it in reverse, but she still would not move. I gave in. I said she could have Vanitas if I could have Terra (whom she had called at the end of last school year). She agreed.
(Rachel, I know Abby called Terra, but like you said at your party, she's more like an honorary member of the BBM, so I am fine with calling the same people as her -- Zero and Terra for example.)
These are seriously the kinds of fights my friends and I get into. We almost run each other over for rights over fictional men ;)
I believe that's all I wanted to say in this long update post...Sorry for so many words...

PS: In case you were wondering, Ienzo is little somebody-Zexion from Birth by Sleep.
PPS: Lots of things going on with my family recently. My brother's birthday was recently. He got cool new games and the party was fun! My little sister, on the other hand, is not doing so well. She dislocated her knee at school. At first, we just told her to walk it off, because her joints get dislocated easily because she has a genetic disorder that causes your ligaments to be looser than they should be. But, it didn't get better, so they went to the doctor and it turns out that, along with having the ligament problem, her knee cap is not the right shape and so it doesn't fit right in her joint, further adding to the dislocation problem. They said that she can't do sports with lots of pivoting (so no soccer or basketball for her) and she'll have to really work up the muscles to prevent this problem from happening over and over. They said she'll probably have to have surgery on her knee at the age of 10 and she'll almost certainly have arthritis in her knee when she's older. I feel so bad because she managed to get handed down all the worst genes that run in my family and she's just got rotten luck. But otherwise, she's as happy and goofy as ever. She'll be fine...Just, can you guys keep her in your prayers?
PPPS: I've been totally obsessing over this song recently and have had it stuck in my head so much!

Stuffs ^^
Ok, to get these out of the way first:
Rachel. You are an amazing person. I've been seeing the rather...mean...things said to you on your formspring, but you answer them honestly without being mean back. I don't know if I could do that. I'd probably just ignore the question...And I am really praying for you and your family with what's going on in your life. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here (though I'm not sure I'm the best person to talk to...I'll either start crying because I cry if I feel any emotion at all or I will say something stupid and make things worse - what usually happens when I try to comfort my brother or sister... I'm not trying to get you not to come to me. I'm just warning you that I'm not responsible for what I may say or do in such a predicament. How about, I'll listen. I'm good at listening. And sometimes listening is all people need X3. Wow, I'm really going on, aren't I??)
Anyway...
Katherine (when you eventually read this when you get back from Europe - so jealous XP) I'm really sorry I didn't visit Princeton with you! I didn't get your message until Wednesday! I hardly ever have my cell phone/check voice mail! I'm sorry!!! DX
Now I'm done my messages to friends. Sooo, what have I been doing??
*Sigh* I'm STILL looking for jobs :( Thank you Rachel for the tip on Subway hiring, though! I haven't gotten a call, but my application is in.
On Tuesday, my little brother, sister, mother, and I went to the Franklin Institute to see the Cleopatra exhibit X3. It was actually really cool (I'm usually not at all interested in anything having to do with history). My favorite parts of the exhibit were the giant 10 foot statues that they found, the coins (they were amazingly preserved for being under the ocean for several thousand years 0.o), and the things that had hieroglyphics on them (hieroglyphics are very cool looking X3). Something...strange...I learned was that Cleopatra was married to her younger brother, then her even-younger brother, then her son whom she had with one of those brothers 0.o There's some SERIOUS incest going on there...
Moving on...other than that, I haven't been out of the house much, for anything other than some errands that I have to run now because I have my driver's license. X/
Something very random that always bugs me:
Where are you supposed to put punctuation when using an emoticon??
Before the emoticon? After? No punctuation at all?? They really need to create grammar rules for this kind of thing! Nothing looks right! Example ("end" being end of first sentence, "Beginning" being beginning of next sentence):
end. X3 Beginning (looks like its part of the next sentence)
end X3. Beginning (looks like its a mole or something and part of the face)
end X3 Beginning (looks like a run-on sentence)
Its so confusing! Especially when using :) at the end of paranetheses:
end :)) ---(looks like two mouths)
end :) ) ---(looks weird. Maybe might work, but not really)
end (:) ---(looks like the middle part of a snowman)
end (: ) ---(still kinda looks like a snowman, but probably conveys the message best out of all of these...)
I usually just avoid that altogether and use "X3)" It eliminates the double parentheses thing...
I'm really over-analyzing aren't I?
Oh well, I do it with most things-- why I want to become a scientist - so my over-thinking can be put to good use! XD
Otaku-related news:
1. Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden was FINALLY updated! Its been TWO YEARS!!! That's one long hiatus 0.o If you don't know the series...I'm not sure how to explain it. Its really quite interesting in my opinion, but there are some mature scenes. But its not like its mature purely as fanservice, as some mangas are, such as Samurai Deeper Kyo (I couldn't get through much of that one...) I think it kind of adds to the..."authenticity"? of it. Yeah, you probably don't need to see those things in such detail...but thinking realistically (yes, I'm telling you to think realistically about a manga) a guy that can change into a woman probably doesn't feel much need to cover up his top half. (That probably sounds much weirder than it is in the series...). I read it for the storyline, which is actually really good and I just look past the other parts. Here are some pictures of said he/she, whose name is Uruki/Rimudo (he goes by both. Rimudo is his given name and Uruki is his celestial name as one of the seven celestial warriors)
2. I'm working on this thing (because I'm bored). I'm making a bunch of pictures of chibi-versions of the Organization XIII members and I'm drawing them to look like a chain of people which will eventually be hanging on to the top corner of the wooden border around my closet. (My explanation isn't very good, but I will have a picture when I'm finished X3). The trouble in getting this finished is not the actual drawing of the pictures but the coloring. For some reason, I chose to color in colored pencil. The black organization coats are a PAIN to color in with colored pencils. I hate using black SOOO much! Why did I do this?! Oh well, I only have about 7 more to color (4 of them I still have to draw - Axel, Luxord, Vexen, and Xaldin - how have I not drawn Axel yet?!). *Sigh* It fills my time, at least...
3. I'm am STILL working on my Oblivion keyblade. It is actually almost done (and looks pretty awesome, if I may say so myself). I just have a very little more papier mache-ing to do, then I can paint it and it should be done! Squee!
Squid!

PS: I went out for ice-cream today with my little bro. I got this flavor called "white raspberry truffle." It was REALLY good! I'm going to have to get that flavor if we go back there again! Noms X3
PPS: I got a 5 on my AP Calc test!!! Yay! (Poor Courgi-chan is going to have to wait until she and Kat get back from Europe to see her score XP)
PPPS: I haven't started my summer homework yet...I'm such a horrible procrastinator. I have to wait until, at earliest, August to start worrying about that!! But for the AP Gov't homework, we have to do current events and I'm not sure what to do it on. I don't keep up with much current stuff. I could do it on the oil spill in the Gulf, but I have a feeling that pretty much everyone is going to be doing that. But I think it will actually be an interesting topic, rather than looking at more stuff relating to politicians and all that kind of thing. Hmmm...I should probably get started soon on that one at least...
Squee!
The whole time I've been working on this, my parents have been calling me weird and nerdy (which is pretty much a compliment in my world. The weirder and nerdier I am, the closer I am to my goal of otakudom...X3) But they've still helped me, even though they don't understand my passion...and I thank them for that! (And they will actually see this thank you because apparently, they read my blog now. Its not like I put things on here that I don't want them to see...its just awkward...this is more for friends and peers and other people like me who may actually understand some of my nerd-talk T.T)
4. I'm not sure if this needs to go into otaku-stuff or not, but I'll put it here anyway. I've recently been naming my inanimate objects.
- Kingdom Keyblade--ALICE (was going to be Haku, but my brother said that was a stupid name T.T)
- Oblivion Keyblade--OLIVIA (I'm creative, I know.)
- My purple balloon from my 16th birthday party that is over a year old and still somehow has air in it--MARGARET (I'm not sure why. It just came to me...)
- Laptop--TITAN (I needed a masculine name so I don't seem sexist)
(Yes, that is me, with a kinda stupid face because my family was there and they made me get pictures in my new car right in front of my school in public with PEOPLE watching!! T.T)
Anyway, I need to name mah baby, but I can't think of a good name. Probably a girl name because it is definitely a chick car...Anyone have any ideas?
Squid!

I don't wanna do my homework...DX
As the title says, I really don't feel like doing my homework right now. I have to write the outline for my big research paper by tomorrow! DX
Thankfully, my teacher wrote out already the general outline. All I really need to do is fill in my information. The trouble is, I have to read all my sources in order to get the information...and that's the part that I'm not looking forward to :(
I don't even think its worth it to try on this project. My English teacher is a grammar Nazi! No matter how good the writing is, she takes off points everywhere if there is the tiniest grammar mistake! I got a freaking 74 on a benchmark because I spelled things wrong or it didn't look like I had a space between my words (I have sloppy handwriting, so that is very hard for me...all my lines look like big, long words). The benchmark was on fiction! Not grammar!! Gaaaahhhh!!!
So with the research paper, even if it is very well written (which it probably wouldn't be anyway because I am really bad at formal writing), I would still fail the project because I have crappy grammar...grrrr...
Plus, I actually tried when I wrote my thesis, and then she thought I was plagiarizing...what?
So, I'm going to under-achieve on this project and hope that I don't fail ;)
I feel so lonely that no one is posting anything recently!! (Just like Katherine's title for her last post X3) I want to be distracted from my homework, but I have nothing else to be distracted by!!!
Oh! Random, but my english teacher that I was just talking about is obsessed with whales. And we're reading Moby Dick right now, so she is quite possibly the happiest person in the world X3
Her room is decorated with whales everywhere. She's got a "small" (in her words, but the thing is like 5 ft long) harpoon in a glass case in the room. She ordered a piece of whale...what's that stuff called that the whales have instead of teeth?...Braile? No. Brille, I think. Maybe. I don't feel like looking it up...So she ordered a piece of that stuff and its about 4 feet long and she passed it around class and it feels like waxy wood with hairs on one edge of it. It was pretty cool :)
I fell asleep in Calculus today. I mean, even more asleep than normal for that class. I love math, and its not like my teacher is boring, but its second period and that's when I'm at my sleepiest. It can be funny sometimes when I'm sleeping in class because I'm actually still kind of half awake, and trying to listen to my teacher and take notes. My notes end up as scribbles and I will completely mishear my teacher or misread what's on the board and think that she's saying something totally different from what she's actually saying. Like one time, in Anatomy this time, I was falling asleep and we were talking about the muscles. At one point, I thought I saw my water bottle falling dramatically and in slow motion off of my desk and I reflexively reached out to catch it, but it turns out I didn't even have a water bottle out on my desk and I flinched and maybe scared the people next to me X3. Later, it looked like my teacher suddenly became the host of jeopardy and the board was like the game board and it was really creepy...
I really need to sleep at home, not at school X/
Soooooo....anyway....yeah....nothing much else to say...
But I don't want to do my homework yet, so....
Oh! I know, I'll check if FMA:Brotherhood anime was updated yet! They're already at the fight with Pride and they're only on episode 48, I think!! I really like this series. It is one of very few animes that actually follows along with the manga instead of trying to change an already awesome storyline (like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles anime. That was horrible once they started branching off to random filler storylines. Except the chibi episode was awesome X3
Gao!!! Garururururu!!)

14 February 2010
Happy Valentines Day!
Contrary to the title, nothing much related to Valentine's Day happened to me today. I had my family birthday party, so my grandparents, mom-mom, and aunt/uncle/cousins came over and they gave us Valentines Day gifts (Books, new drawing materials, chocolate X3). It was nice! My mom-mom got me really nice new drawing stuff like pastels, thin-tip markers, pencils, colored pencils, etc. (I like drawing for fun, for anyone who reads this blog that is not one of my close friends who know me already. My deviantart is www.vampiresquid42.deviantart.com).
Sooo...what was I talking about? Right! My day...My little cousins are so cute! They are about 3 and they are twins and they are so CUTE!!!
Anyway, on a more depressing note, I have not done ANY homework that is due tuesday. I have tomorrow off, but it looks like that day will be spent reading the last half of East of Eden by John Steinbeck (which has to be done by Wednesday); finishing my Calculus packet (fun, fun, fun...); and I MUST get out and look at the sunset tomorrow (I think I talked about this in my other post, about my astronomy homework).
Fanfiction...hmmm...I've gotten a couple reviews telling me to update (I write a fanfiction, by the way, called Falls Apart by vampiresquid42 <-me on fanfiction.net). I know I have to and I had a huge brainstorm of ideas for this chapter and a bonus chapter that doesn't fit in the plot, but I feel like I have to write it (to lighten the mood after I finish the story because the way this is going, the ending will be tragic, but I think its the right ending because it fits with the tragedy genre of the original Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles manga. But now I feel bad about the ending because one review says:

really wanna see how this turns out! Pls don't let this story die ur an
