So, finally making another post...I procrastinate...I'm sorry...
Last month (its been a month, holy crap) was my birthday!! I turned 18! Yay!
I really don't feel much of a difference except for being able to be driving past 11pm now...Hmmm....
I had my birthday party on the weekend of my birthday. Rachel, Kat, Courgy, and Dealer-chan all came. I was feeling INCREDIBLY nerdy and felt like having a Pokemon themed party for my 18th birthday XD We had cute little Pokemon cups and plates and napkins and everything...It was awesome!!
Last week, I think it was, my school was supposed to have a strike. I was so looking forward to it! I'm a senior, and graduation wouldn't have been moved, so it was just days off for me! It was gonna be awesome! Except the administrators decided to compromise and they reached an agreement. Sooooo....no strike T.T
Grrrrr.....
Today in school was senior skip day. If that's not a tradition at your school, its basically, as the title suggests, a day when all the seniors skip school. Usually, its supposed to be kept secret from teachers and such, however, my class has loud mouths and the administrators found out the date and sent out emails and phone calls to parents basically saying "Your child will end up in jail for the rest of their life if they skip school on senior skip day!! Mwahahaha!" ---Okay, I'm paraphrasing a bit. So, well...I didn't skip school. None of my friends did either. Most of my classes were half empty. We did absolutely nothing all day. It was pretty awesome! And a lot of people got extra credit stuff. So it was a cool day :)
In otaku-related news:
I finally got Pokemon: Heart Gold for my birthday. I've been playing it a lot...but I'm not very far...I'm kinda slow in this kind of game. I'm only on the 4th Gym...T.T
BUT I was so proud of my nerdiness this past weekend! They had this event going on at gamestop that you could get a Celebi if you went to gamestop and used the mystery gift thing (I actually think this event is still going on...until the 6th I believe). So, this special celebi unlocks stuff in HeartGold and in Black and White (the new games coming out!!!!)
I also did the wifi event at my house to get a SHINY SUICUNE!!! Its awesome!! Unfortunately, I missed the other 2 legendary dogs....but that's okay! Suicune has always been my favorite!!
Anyway, I also got Eternal Sonata for PS3 for my birthday. I haven't really had time to play it much, but what I did play of it so far is pretty awesome!
A kind of funny, kind of sad, kind of frustrating story:
During my birthday party, I wanted to show my friends Final Fantasy XIII. I started playing it, only to find that my save profile was no longer there...0.o
My brother had apparently overwritten my save profile which I had spent about 12 hours training to get 300,000 CP and doing several missions. Plus getting pretty far ahead in the storyline of the game as well...
As you can guess...I was not very happy about this...Luckily for him, he was asleep at the time and had my parents and my guests as a barrier. If it were just me and him...I don't even know what I would have done....
So now, his job is to get caught up to where I was and train to gain back all the points I had accumulated that he just threw into oblivion.
Yeah...
I put together a Team Rocket grunt cosplay. I don't have any pictures yet. I still need the cool hat. But its pretty exciting XD
Nerdy stuff:
So, I've started to watch Supernatural. And by started, I mean went on several long binges watching the show online. I'm at Season 3 episode 14 right now. Dean and Sam are so cute!! Rachel...I know they are both called unfortunately, as is Castiel....but I still reserve the right to fangirl!!
This show is just amazing. It is really well written. There is just the right balance of comedy and drama in it and...its just generally awesome!!
Here's a video with just some funny clips that I very much enjoy XD
So, there's that :)
I have also been cracking up about these videos by the user Tobuscus on YouTube.
He does these "Literal" trailers for games and movies and they are freaking hilarious!!
Here are some of my favorites:
Then, there is this nerdy video that is epically awesome:
ALSO, there is this blog which I discovered through MLIN (which Rachel introduced me to ^^)
It is freaking hilarious some of the things she writes and draws. You should definitely check it out:
Hyperbole and a Half Blog
So, I think that is all for now!
Oh! Almost totally forgot!! I got the 60% scholarship to Messiah!! That brings the cost down per year to almost state school level, which is definitely much more affordable!! YAY!!!

Satanic Waffle House XD
Sooo...Its been WAY too long since I last updated and I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY for that!! Too much stuff has been going on (which I will get to below):
So, going in sorta random, sorta chronological order; Revelation Generation happened September 4th. It was pretty freaking awesome! I went with Kat-chan and Rachel (who I seriously need a nickname for because I call all my friends "chan" except for Rachel because I have no nickname!! Blonde-chan? I believe Kat-chan calls her Baka-chan, but she's not very baka...hmmm...anyway...)

What was I saying? Oh yeah! RevGen! I has pictures and videos of course!!
Twas a fun time :)
So, school started up on the 7th. So this week is actually my 3rd week of school (wow, hard to believe...Of course, the first week was only Tues, Wed, and Fri. We had Thursday off. This school year is good and bad.
Good:
-Senior year
-cool classes (Biotechnology -- at a nearby tech school, AP Government (I hate social studies, but the teacher is awesome!), Honors English (we're doing British literature, which I'm actually excited about!!), AP Physics (physics = cool, teacher = eh...something about her just doesn't sit right with me...maybe she's an alien...), AP Statistics (I didn't get the really awesome Stat teacher!! Grrr...I got the new one. Its her first year teaching and she switches between talking to us like we're experts in statistics to talking to us like we're in first grade! She seems nice enough, but its been boring enough that I fell asleep during our first test! I was freaking taking the test and I fell asleep!! ...This is going to be a long year)
-study hall (I have Rachel, Dealer-chan, and (on Tuesdays) Courgy-chan)
-Dealer-chan is in my Physics class, so that makes it fun
-8th period lunch -- Its nice because I go to Biotech, get back to my school in the middle of 2nd period, go to 3 classes, go to lunch, go to 2 classes, go home. My point is, if I make it to lunch, all I have to look forward to after that is physics and study hall!!
Bad:
-teachers...As I kinda already mentioned in my cool classes. The subjects are awesome. Teachers are okay. The only cool teachers are the Biotech, English and Gov't teachers.
-I don't see ANYONE in the morning!! (Because of Biotech, I have to leave at 6:50am and drive 30min every day to the tech school. In previous years, the whole BBM could meet out front of the school in the morning before school started. Now I can't do that because I don't actually get to my school until about 9:15!! It makes me really sad that most days, I don't ever see Kat-chan or Courgy-chan!!
-I have no one in my lunch period. The only people I know in there are Dealer-chan's sister, and Rachel's sister's friend! I sit at the "loser" table with all the other people who have no friends and we just sit every other seat, not next to each other, and eat in silence...usually while doing homework...=(
Actually, I talked to someone the other day. She was a freshman and I was drawing a picture of Aqua from BBS (which I will MOST DEFINITELY talk about later in this post XD) and she asked me who it was and we talked about Kingdom Hearts and anime and stuff. It was fun except I couldn't really hear her very well because its very loud in the lunch room and hard to hear what people are saying, even if they're sitting 2 feet from you...So I kept saying "What?" and "I'm sorry, I can't hear you!" and I felt really bad :(
Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, so school is OK. Not that bad, not that great. I'll get adjusted eventually...
Okay, AP classes are freaking cruel with their summer homework. I'm taking 3 AP classes this year and Biotech (which is a Duel-Enrollment course). They all had packets to do and they sucked!!! I spent pretty much the entire month of August working on those things for at least an hour a day and I was still cramming almost 2 entire packets in the last 3 days before school started! I was tired of school before I even got there!! I guess that's what being a senior is all about...
Oh! Really cool thing I learned! My school finally gave us our class ranks and GPA's.
Based off of grades from 9th-11th grade, my GPA is 4.5601 (our school has a weighted grading scale) and my class rank is 6th out of 381 students!!!! I FREAKED OUT when I heard this!!! (Well, I actually just freaked out on the inside...My mom told me and I was like, "Really? Cool." Then I went to my room and did a little victory dance/jump/squeal/thing. I pretty much spazzed out...)
Uhm...Thinking of what else I wanted to say...
Shippensburg! I visited Shippensburg University with Kat-chan. Twas fun. Rides there consisted of much talk about the Satanic Waffle House...Very long story...Ending in Lucy's brother James running a very cute interdimensional waffle house with his partner Sebastian, his best friend -- Rose the demonic fern, and his little servants resembling the accounting trolls from the Dilbert comics. There was also talk of Nuclear Hellfire Waffles and epic crossovers...Speaking of which, I did draw James and Rose, I don't know if its the same as you pictured him, and I haven't colored it yet, so I will put it in another post. Sorry!
(For now, here's a picture of Gir eating waffles X3)
This weekend was amazingly fun! On Friday, we had the joint birthday party for Kat-chan and Rachel. It was at Rachel's house and lots of people came. There was much noms and dancing and singing (of Disney songs mostly XD)
Funny story, I was at my church community day, which was on Saturday. Rachel's neighbors go to my church and Mrs. W said to me, "Hey, Kaitlyn, were you at a party last night?"
I laughed, "Yeah, did you hear us?"
"Yeah...I think it was something from the Lion King?"
"Yep. That was us."
You see, that's just how awesome we are XP
Oh, and Rachel got some awesome cosplay stuff! She has pretty much her entire Demyx cosplay set.
Speaking of which, I realized in the shower (of all places) that my mother had a lab coat that she had used for a microbiology class she was taking. So, I thought, 'Wait, I have a lab coat and a Zexion wig. Duh! I can do Ienzo!!!' And so now I have an Ienzo cosplay. And that is that.
So now, finally to my otaku-related news.
This is pretty much all consisting of Birth By Sleep talk. My brother got it for his birthday and we've been sharing it, so I'm not very far. I actually am playing as Ventus, Terra, and Aqua kinda simultaneously and I'm at Deep Space with Ventus and Aqua and Neverland with Terra. The game is AMAZING!! I love it so much! Much better of a game than 358/2 Days. I mean I liked that game, but it was not nearly up to other KH game standards. But I really love the fighting styles in this game and my Zacky is in it so that just has to make it amazing!! (I had major fangirl attacks every time I went to the Colosseum and saw Zack. He's just too CUTE!! He's so little with the same personality and trying to hit on Aqua! Its just so cute!!)
Anyway, this game is one of the reasons I haven't been updating. When I'm not doing homework, I'm playing the game (I lost the game DX).
Me and Courgy-chan had a fight over Vanitas. I had called him a while ago to my brother, but not publicly, so apparently, she had called him too. So we were arguing in the school parking lot. She followed me to my car and stood behind my car and wouldn't let me leave until I admitted Vanitas was hers. It lasted about five minutes. I had turned my car on and put it in reverse, but she still would not move. I gave in. I said she could have Vanitas if I could have Terra (whom she had called at the end of last school year). She agreed.
(Rachel, I know Abby called Terra, but like you said at your party, she's more like an honorary member of the BBM, so I am fine with calling the same people as her -- Zero and Terra for example.)
These are seriously the kinds of fights my friends and I get into. We almost run each other over for rights over fictional men ;)
I believe that's all I wanted to say in this long update post...Sorry for so many words...

PS: In case you were wondering, Ienzo is little somebody-Zexion from Birth by Sleep.
PPS: Lots of things going on with my family recently. My brother's birthday was recently. He got cool new games and the party was fun! My little sister, on the other hand, is not doing so well. She dislocated her knee at school. At first, we just told her to walk it off, because her joints get dislocated easily because she has a genetic disorder that causes your ligaments to be looser than they should be. But, it didn't get better, so they went to the doctor and it turns out that, along with having the ligament problem, her knee cap is not the right shape and so it doesn't fit right in her joint, further adding to the dislocation problem. They said that she can't do sports with lots of pivoting (so no soccer or basketball for her) and she'll have to really work up the muscles to prevent this problem from happening over and over. They said she'll probably have to have surgery on her knee at the age of 10 and she'll almost certainly have arthritis in her knee when she's older. I feel so bad because she managed to get handed down all the worst genes that run in my family and she's just got rotten luck. But otherwise, she's as happy and goofy as ever. She'll be fine...Just, can you guys keep her in your prayers?
PPPS: I've been totally obsessing over this song recently and have had it stuck in my head so much!

Mah Room
Oh my gosh! Two posts in one night!! 0.o
Kinda inspired by Kelsey Montgomery's post about her room: I've decided to post pictures of my own room because you've see some of it in pictures I took on my webcam of my hair or something, but not very good ones. I've become quite proud of my room!
The west-ish side of my room: I call it anything from my poster wall to my anime wall to my inspiration wall. Its one of my favorite walls in my room XP. Most of the "posters" are just full page pictures I cut out of Electronic Gaming Monthly magazines that my brother left behind on the bookshelf (they're those big stacks of magazines on the bottom shelf). Some are real posters - like the Ouran, Naruto, and Final Fantasy I & II ones. The rest are just what I scrounged up out of what I had, be it magazines or game manuals or calenders.
There's also my couch with my tiger and my Tigger and my desk covered in random papers and crap.
Also on this wall is my bookshelf, which I chose to take pictures of because its colorful and maybe someone cares what the contents of my bookshelf are...I dunno...T.T
Oh, and the paintings on top of the bookshelf are paintings I did in art club in middle school. I like them, so I keep them up there :)
The south-ish side of my room: I've got the tetris wall that my older brother designed for the room when he lived here, then he moved out for college and I got the cool room X3. I have my TV, my random stuff undre my TV, my "craft corner" where I keep cardboard and fabric and such that I may need for future projects, exercise stuff, golf clubs (I'm on my school golf team XP), my fuzzy purple robe. You can also see mah kitteh! His name is Cosmo, but I sometimes call him Pablo. He is my ninja kitteh!!
This is the east-ish side of my room: Its got my closet, my keyblades, my bed, my lamp, etc. It also has many pictures on the wall, all of which are hand drawn by me, Courgy-chan, Dealer-chan, my brother, and my sister.
Thanks for caring! And if you didn't care, thanks for sticking it out til the end and still reading this! XP

05 March 2010
AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! (I'm not sure why, either...I had too much sugar...)
So, went to see Alice in Wonderland movie by Tim Burton. AWESOME!!!!
I'm not going to share that much about it, because Katherine already summed it up very nicely and she and Rachel are my only followers at the moment, so I don't really need to repeat. Except for:
"SNOWBALL, to the rescue!!"
Yeah...
Anyway, not much happened today otherwise. One scary thing: it was senior skip day, so none of the annoying seniors were in my study hall today (I'm not saying all seniors are annoying, just some particular ones in my study hall). So with them gone, it was dead silent. It scared me...
So then, I had a meeting with my counselor and mother to figure out my school schedule for next year. I am going to really try to get into the biotech program (which Katherine is in this year and seems really fun). However, my science teacher--whom I gave the recommendation form to so he would fill it out--procrastinates more than I do...which is sad. He said yesterday that he would give it to me today, then I asked him about it today and he said, "Oh, I left it up in my room [we were in the computer lab]. Can I get that to you Monday?"
"Well...its due Monday, so...I guess?"
I'm not very good at standing up to teachers.
Mr. S (what I shall call my chem teacher) apparently loves me though, because when I was absent Monday and Tuesday, he sent me an email saying that I'm one of the best students he's ever had and everything and he attached the benchmark test to the email so I could take it at home. This was not an open-note test. Wow.
I mean, I think Mr. S is a really good person...but he's not the greatest teacher. We don't get anything done!! Which is infuriating because I'm not learning stuff I need to know to go into a career involving chemistry. Plus, I'm the one that actually pays attention on the occasion that he does teach, so I'm teaching half my class how to do the stuff he taught us how to do because I'm one of the few people who actually pay attention!!! Okay, maybe not half the class. I can't talk to that many people. But I'll teach one person and they'll go back to their group and teach them and then another person will ask them how to do it, and so on.
Gaaaahhhhh!!
Funny story: I explained to my mom that "Gaaaaaahhhhhh!!" is my angry noise. I even told her how to spell it. G-a-a-a-a-a-h-h-h-h-h and then lots of exclamation points and sometimes a 1 at the end because I let go of the shift button before the 1...Yes, I went into that much detail...
Another funny story: The car ride home from the movie was quite interesting. It was me, my mom, chibi-chan, and manga-dealer. So, chibi-chan gets a call. It was--hmm...what shall I call him...Fanboy!...Rachel and Katherine may know who I'm talking about. His name starts with a B...I think that works so you know who I'm talking about, but its not specific enough for anything other than that, so anyway, back to story--Fanboy called. The car was silent. We were all just listening to their conversation, but we could only hear what chibi-chan is saying.
Something about him looking like an emo Kyouya in his ID picture on her phone.
Then something that she needed mind bleach for involving Kyouya and Tamaki and some catastrophic accident...I dunno...
Then, she explained she was in the car with her manga-dealer and the otaku who like Kingdom Hearts (at that, he apparently squealed, hence the nickname "fanboy").
Then she put him on speaker phone...now that was interesting. He told a story involving yaoi. My mom heard him say it and our reaction to it.
"What's yaoi??"
"You don't want to know."
*odd look* "Okay??"
Meanwhile, chibi-chan and manga-dealer are cracking up in the back seat and fanboy says, "I'm still on speaker, aren't I."
"Yes. You are."
"Oh."

It was so funny!!!
Later, when I got home. I dunno how I got on this topic with my parents, but somehow Vic Mignogna came up.
Oh, I remember.
By the way, Katherine. My mom talked to your mom about having you go on a college visit with us. I'm very sorry if this causes you any kind of problem.
That little tidbit was relevant, believe it or not. My mom was saying that I could feel free to invite all my friends to come with us, too. As long as we don't show up all dressed as Yu-Gi-Oh characters (okay, I'm surprised she even knew what Yu-Gi-Oh was, me and my brothers never watched it or played it or anything when we were younger).
But anyway, being hyper and all, I acted all indignant.
"Yu-Gi-Oh. Really? I mean, there's the Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon kinda nerds, and then there's the other group of nerds. I'm in the other group. Please don't even lump me together with those ones."
"Well, okay. Sorry, I only know those ones."
My dad: *sarcastically* "Yeah, its a whole social status thing. Weirdos of her level can't even mix with those other weirdos. I mean, the keyblade makers fight with the Yu-Gi-Oh nerds who fight with the Pokemon nerds. Didn't you know this?"
In reality, I find nothing wrong with Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon. Then, from there, I don't remember how Vic Mignogna came up. I had to explain to them how he's this huge celebrity in the otaku world (the English-speaking one, at least). He does everyone: Fai, Tamaki, Edward Elric, etc.
My dad doesn't understand my nerdiness, so he constantly makes fun of me for it, so now he makes fun of Vic Mignogna's name and calls him Vic Mimomomomomom....for however long he feels like going...its quite annoying. He makes fun of everything I like. I told him.
"There's a whole secret world of otakus that you don't even know about..."
I thought I said it pretty ominously...he just kept making fun of me :(
He's mean...
I think that is all I will put on this post...So...
Bye!
